Ask Abyss

Ask Abyss answers with numbered sources: web Search or deep Research, files and tables, charts and documents. In the web cabinet and as a Telegram Mini App.

OneProvider answer assistant Beta — open to everyone An AI assistant inside your OneProvider cabinet. It searches the web, reads the pages and answers with numbered links to the sources: quickly, or as a full research report. Paid from the same balance as the API. Open Ask in the cabinet Read the docs Animated demo: in the web cabinet a question about backing up a Postgres database is typed, the web is searched, source cards appear and an answer streams in with numbered citations. Then the same flow runs in Telegram: the Ask Abyss button of the bot menu opens a Mini App that connects to your cabinet. 01 / What it is

A chat that finds, reads and cites.

Ask Abyss lives in your OneProvider account, so there is no separate sign-up and no separate key. You ask, it works, you check the sources.

Developers

Ask reads the documentation, forums and code on the web, and it knows the OneProvider docs: it can walk you through connecting Claude Code, Cursor, Cline and other clients, using the base URL, key names and model list of your own account. It never sees a key value.

Research and comparisons

Ask for a quick sourced answer, or hand it a hard topic and get a structured report with sections and tables, every claim linked to its source.

Documents and data

Attach PDFs, Word files and spreadsheets. Ask summarizes them, answers questions about them, calculates from tables and writes new documents you can export.

02 / Modes

Search for speed, Research for depth.

Property SearchResearch
What it doesRewrites your question, searches, reads the best pages and writes an answer with sources. Greetings and translations skip the search.Splits the topic into sub-questions, searches each, reads up to 22 pages, checks what is missing and writes a report with sections and tables.
Typical timeSeconds: the answer starts streaming right away.A few minutes, with the steps shown while it works.
Use it whenAlmost always: facts, how-tos, errors, quick lookups.Comparisons, overviews and hard topics that deserve a full report.
Extra feeA small fixed fee when the answer used web search.A small fixed fee per run; the balance must be $1 or more to start.

There is also a third way: with web search off, the model answers from its own knowledge, your files and the space instruction, with no sources. It suits writing, code, translation and work with documents. Set it in a space (“Default mode”) or in the Telegram bot with /search off.

03 / Sources

Every claim has a source you can open.

Answers carry numbered chips such as [1], [2], [3]. Tap a chip to open the page behind the claim; the Sources tab lists all of them with the site and title.

When there are no sources

An answer has none when the question needs none (a greeting, code, a poem, a translation), when web search is off, or when the search was unavailable. Ask does not pretend otherwise.

Where it looks

The open web: documentation, forums, code repositories and news. For questions about OneProvider itself it uses these docs.

04 / Files and documents

Bring your own material.

  • Attach to a message Up to 5 pictures (JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, 10 MB each) and up to 5 documents (PDF, DOCX, ODT, XLSX, CSV, TSV, MD, TXT, 20 MB each). Scanned PDFs are read too.
  • Tables CSV and XLSX tables are profiled when you upload them, and Ask answers by running a read-only query over your data in a sandbox instead of guessing.
  • Storage 200 MB of stored files per account by default; what you delete frees the room at once.
  • Documents with versions Ask can write a document, and every edit becomes a version (up to 30 per document; the first and the newest are always kept). Export it as PDF, DOCX or Markdown; tables as XLSX or CSV; and a document as a PPTX presentation.
  • Whole chats Download any chat as Markdown, PDF or DOCX.
05 / Visual answers

Not just text.

Charts

Ask draws charts from your data right in the answer: hover or tap a point for its value, and download the data as a table.

Diagrams and code

Mermaid diagrams are drawn in the answer. Python code has a Run button: it runs in your browser in an isolated sandbox that cannot send your data out, for up to 30 seconds.

Pictures

Ask a picture in plain words and it draws one; download it or redraw with one tap.

06 / Memory and spaces

It remembers what you tell it to.

The chats are yours: history, rename, delete, share by link, export. Memory and spaces are optional and under your control.

Memory

Ask picks stable facts from your chats, such as your stack and interests, and uses them in later answers. You can view the memory, delete a fact, clear it all or switch it off.

Search in past chats

When a question refers to something you discussed before, Ask looks through your earlier chats and says so in the answer steps. The history also has a search box.

Spaces

A space is a folder for a topic or project with its own instruction, its own files and default settings. Chats inside it always see the instruction and the files.

07 / Where it works

The same Ask on the web and in Telegram.

Web cabinet

Sign in at app.oneprovider.dev and press “Ask Abyss” in the “Cabinet | Ask Abyss” switch at the top, or open app.oneprovider.dev/ask directly. The screen dims and only the chat is left.

Telegram Mini App

In the main menu of @oneprovider_robot press “Ask Abyss”: it opens as a Mini App with the same chats, memory and balance. A separate Ask Abyss chat bot, linked from the cabinet, answers in plain messages.

08 / Pricing

Paid from your balance, per use.

Ask Abyss spends the same OneProvider balance as the API, the model's tokens plus a small fee per web search and per Research run. No plan, no subscription. What Ask Abyss charges
ItemWhat it is
Model tokensThe tokens of the model you picked, at its per-token rate: rate table
Web search feeA small fixed fee for an answer that used web search (not charged when Ask answers from the OneProvider docs alone)
Research feeA small fixed fee for one Research run

To start Research the balance must be $1 or more. A Research run is limited to 5 a day per account by default. In the cabinet, Ask Abyss shows in Usage as one line and never counts against your key limits. How tokens are counted

09 / Privacy

Your chats stay yours.

Ask keeps your chats, files and memory so you can come back to them, in your account only. Delete a chat, a file or a memory fact whenever you like. A shared link shows just the one chat you share.

Ask never sees the value of an API key: it knows your key names and your models, not the secrets. How OneProvider handles security and privacy

10 / Questions

Short answers.

Is Ask Abyss free?

No. There is no plan, subscription or free tier: you pay from your OneProvider balance, only for what you use. The details are in the pricing section above.

Search or Research: which one should I pick?

Use Search for almost everything: it is fast and cites its sources. Use Research for comparisons, overviews and hard topics where a full report is worth a few minutes and a small fixed fee.

How long does Research take?

A few minutes. The steps are shown while it works. One Research runs at a time per account, and by default an account can start 5 a day (the day counts in UTC); Search stays available meanwhile.

Where do I see what it cost?

In the cabinet under Usage, Ask Abyss is one line, “Ask Abyss usage”. The chat itself does not show a price per answer, and Ask does not use or count against your API keys.

Can anyone else read my chats?

Only if you share one: “Share” creates a public link to that chat, and you can switch it off at any time, after which it stops working at once. Files, memory and account data are never part of a shared chat.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete a chat, a file or a memory fact, clear the memory entirely, or switch it off.
